A hen or stag party is usually the one event where everyone wants to get involved. Whilst you might want to keep many of the details locked down until nearer the time, make sure you do involve the future bride or groom in confirming the guest list.
It is important to set a budget before going too crazy on booking activities or party packages. Again, it is a good idea to consult with the bride/groom to get their steer before getting too far into the planning stages.
Share the likely cost (and as much of the plan as you can) with the guest list early in the process so that guests have time to budget, or to give you the time to reshape the agenda if necessary.
Whilst you should try to choose activities and entertainment that will be suitable for all of the guests, it might be appropriate to split the event to ensure as many as wish to attend can do so in some way.
The guest list might include people from a number of different areas of the bride/groom’s life. They may each have different shared experiences with the bride or groom and can each be a great and varied source of inspiration for location, activities and any games or fun you have in mind.
Must haves (and have nots)…
Does the future bride or groom have any ‘must haves’ as part of their dream hen/stag party? Or perhaps something they really do not want to include? The hen and/or stag should really be the focus of the event, so try to keep them in the forefront of your mind when arranging the itinerary.
